The Parents and Citizens (P&C) Association is an active, enthusiastic group of parents who volunteer their time to support the students of Dulwich Hill Public School. Our P&C works hard to promote a strong relationship between parents, citizens, students and teachers through a range of programs, initiatives and events.

Activities that the P&C undertake include running the school uniform shop and canteen, assisting in the planning & caring of the school grounds & community garden, liaison with the Out of Hours School Care provider and running an active calendar of fundraising & social events to build the school community.

The P&C works closely with the school Principal to allocate funds raised on a needs based assessment matrix. Examples include the purchase of classroom smartboard technologies, classroom readers,  supporting the school equity fund and purchasing instruments for rental by school band members.

In Term 1 of 2017 the P&C has introduced a Learning Enrichment Program where students can undertake extra curricular learning on school premises in mandarin, spanish, drama & coding.

Monthly P&C Meetings

The P&C generally meets monthly on Wednesday evenings in the staff room, from 7.00pm until approximately 9pm.

The Principal of our school attends these meetings accompanied by staff members & other invited speakers who provide updates on what is happening in the school. All parents and carers are invited to attend. Get involved, make new friends, join a committee to help strengthen the Dulwich Hill school community.
